Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the aintAI website at aintai.io and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
aintAI provides AI-generated text detection and text humanization tools. Our detection service analyzes submitted text and returns a probability score indicating whether the content was likely generated by AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or others. Our humanizer service rewrites AI-generated text to read more naturally. Both tools are provided as-is for informational purposes.
2. Accounts & Service Tiers
We offer the following tiers:
- Free tier — limited daily scans and character limits. No account required for basic use.
- Pro tier — unlimited scans, higher character limits, humanizer access, document uploads, scan history, and priority processing. Requires an account and active paid subscription.
- Enterprise tier — custom pricing with API access, team features, and dedicated support.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or algorithms.
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other technical restrictions.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent or a valid API subscription.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization.
- Use the humanizer tool to bypass plagiarism detection in academic settings in violation of your institution's academic integrity policy.
4. No Guarantee of Accuracy
AI detection is probabilistic by nature. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of our detection results. False positives (human text flagged as AI) and false negatives (AI text not detected) can and do occur. Detection scores should be treated as one data point among many and should not be the sole basis for consequential decisions such as academic disciplinary actions, hiring decisions, or content removal. You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and act upon our results.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, models, algorithms, branding, and code, is owned by aintAI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any text you submit for analysis. By submitting text, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
6. Billing & Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless cancelled.
- You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the subscription fee.
- Price changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aintAI and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, reputation, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which aintAI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
